With the success of their original storefront, Venture Chocolate & Wine Company expanded into an adjacent space on historic King Street in Boone, NC. The renovation carefully balanced modern hospitality goals with the complexities of working in a century-old structure—including life safety compliance, accessibility upgrades, and navigating existing conditions uncovered during demolition. Exposing the patina of the original masonry walls, we layered in warm, contemporary finishes and refined lighting to create a relaxed, immersive tasting environment that supports both customer flow and intimate gathering.
